Ashton NyteAlthough the song is almost a year old, it is worth being on our New Music playlist, as it is just so damn good. MGT is actually British guitarist Mark Thwaite, who played in bands such as The Mission, and Spear of Destiny. But on this song the vocals are provided by South African rock god, solo performer and frontman of The Awakening, Ashton Nyte. It is a masterpiece.

Wandile Mbambeni – Lovers Like You
Wandile Mbambeni - MaturationThis is an absolute must listen. If you haven’t heard of Wandile Mbambeni, allow me to introduce you to him. He is a singer/songwriter originally from the Eastern Cape, currently based in Cape Town. Born the youngest of three brothers in the rural former Transkei. He was formerly known as the Border Bulldogs scrumhalf and now he is typically recognized for his smooth afro-soul folk sound when gracing the stage alone. His latest single ‘Lovers Like You’ is a fairly simple song, but it succeeds in rooting the floaty ballad firmly in your head. An ear worm deluxe!
