SA Goth God, Ashton Nyte, Has a New Song

Ashton Nyte is a prolific South African singer/songwriter, music producer and stage performer, who has been based in the United States since 2009. His signature style focuses on his uniquely rich and widely diverse vocal abilities, while his instrumentation ranges from minimalist acoustic guitar ballads to epic arrangements. Having released six solo albums as Ashton Nyte and one as Ashton Nyte And The Accused, in addition to 8 albums fronting The Awakening, one of South Africa’s most prominent alternative rock bands, he has returned to the forefront of his genre with an epic cover of The Crying Game.

The song was first released by Dave Berry in July 1964, and was covered by the likes of Brenda Lee, The Associates, Chris Connor, Kylie Minogue, Percy Sledge, and Barbara Dickson, with the most famed version being that of Boy George when the song was used as the theme to the 1992 movie of the same name.

Now Ashton Nyte has put his take this song and it is simply spectacularly moving.

The song is available now exclusively on his website, and it will be released on all other digital platforms on November 8th, and the video is here for to enjoy.
